Camcorders and DSLRs take over Official Windows Vista Magazine

The Winter 2007 issue of the Official Windows Vista Magazine should be hitting newsstands very soon and will be of interest to those of you considering picking up a camcorder, digital webcam or DSLR camera this holiday season.  This issue provides some excellent how-to articles on importing photos from your digital camera, as well tips for editing video from your camcorder.  On top of that, the authors review some of the latest DSLR models, such as the Canon PowerShot G7 -- a Certified for Windows Vista product --, in stores now for this holiday season.

Check out this issue's ideas for potential gifts for your family's digital media enthusiasts who're using Windows Vista.

The PowerShot G7 isn't a DSLR - it's a compact camera.

adrian, how is the Pentax? Never used one. I've used Canons and Nikons but never Pentax and am curious what you think. If your Pentax is Certified for Windows Vista, you won't need any drivers ;-)

does anyone know where to buy the Windows Vista magazine in Canada. Can you order it online?

Hmmm, their B&W advice is not too good. Desaturation is not the best way to get a B&W image. The image will be off tone-wise and will need channel adjustments to correct tonality.
